The Station
Understanding Windsor Station
Windsor Station is a vast 326,000-square-foot heritage complex located in downtown Montreal, at the corner of Dorchester Square and Place du Canada. It consists of several distinct wings organized around a central courtyard.
The complex includes the Salle des Pas Perdus, an event space at the heart of the building, office space spread over 11 floors, and commercial space.
Each section has its own identity while forming part of a coherent whole.
Windsor Station is centrally located, close to the main hubs of downtown. Its location provides easy access to Montreal’s main business, cultural, and event venues. It is directly connected to the Montreal underground network (RESO), offering protected and seamless access all year round.

A living and modern heritage
While respecting the heritage character of the building, Windsor Station has undergone major renovations in recent years to combine comfort, performance, and sustainability. The facades and windows have been restored and modernized, the main entrance has been redesigned, and the central courtyard has been transformed into an open and lively space with a shared terrace.
The interior circulation has been redesigned, the elevators modernized, and common services improved, including security and sanitary facilities. Technical systems have been optimized for energy efficiency and sustainability, while respecting the building’s historical identity.
